Su Lean manufacturing blog potete leggere un articolo dal titolo: "Design For Six Sigma".
Questa è la versione tradotta in italiano con il traduttore automatico di Google.
DFSS, Design for Six Sigma, is a fast growing development managing tactic coupled to the standard Six Sigma process. When you are working with the Six Sigma process your are trying to achieve organization and performance improvements, within your company. With DFSS, you are trying to find out the client or business requirements, and incorporate them into the solution that you form. When you are working with DFSS you are focus on procedure creation instead of enhancement.
Some terms that are associated with DFSS include; DMADV, this is an acronym that stands for Define – Measure – Design – Verify and DMAIC, standing for Define ” Measure ” Analyze ” Improve ” Control.
The purpose of DFSS is to eliminate problems within the manufacturing process at the start of a new effort by making use of the latest customer input, and system dsign processes. The combination of customer input and the design processes will ensure that the customers needs are being met, while desiging a system that allows for changing needs and future growth to ensure customer satisfaction. When done properly, the use of DFSS ensures customer satisfatction, and results in an improvement of business rates. DFSS encompases tools, processes and design systems that will guide the process life cycle, and guarantees that the final product will meet all of the customers neds by fullfilling all of the requirements.
DFSS grew from the recognition that improving optimization, by a factor of three to four Sigma, would be unrealistic if the Six Sigma process were not incorporated into the design phase of a system. To support the design process, DFSS requires detailed processes which are critical to optimization. While DFSS and DMAIC share some similarities, DMAIC is ideal for the analysis of the architecture of a system, and for optimizing “back end” systems. DFSS is ideal when systems are more complex, or when daling with customer facing systems.
On the whole, along with its DMAIC roadmap, Six Sigma deals with the enhancement of current procedure or procedures. On the other hand, DFSS talks about the development of fresh worth with feedback or opinions from clients, suppliers and trade requirements. While conventional Six Sigma may also utilize those inputs, the focal point of interest in case of DFSS is on enhancement and not on the plan of some fresh solution, connecting the same to the engineering setting of DFSS. |
